Hi. I'm Christina. I am originally from San Francisco, CA, but now I live in Birmingham, Alabama. I am an IT Program Manager, by profession, but I dream about spending my days in more creative / less stressful ways.
This blog was born out of the need for an avenue to communicate recipes and pictures, after continually writing down recipes for friends who have visited my home for dinner. Aside from a few favorites (and it takes a lot to impress me at the table), I'd rather have you at my house and cook for you than I would eat out. And, quite frankly, my home is a much better environment to really enjoy friends and family than any restaurant.
The basics: I have a thing for dragonflies, all kinds of music, San Francisco, wildflowers, good chocolate, urban design, baking, a simple life, pretty paper, bubble baths, a good, long bike ride, Seaside, FL, the rain on a summer afternoon, and I'll gladly enjoy a smooth California cab every now and then.
